Thanksgiving morning
For many years Jim and I have spent Thanksgiving morning celebrating in the woods with friends. We eat a breakfast of chili, eggs, biscuits and anything else you can cook on a camp stove. When we're done, I like to enjoy a cup of hot glugg and a cigar. This year was no exception.

New Addition to the Family
For those of you who did not know, the Kruis family is expecting their 3rd child on March 3rd.
We are still working on names so any suggestions are welcome! We are not going to find out what we are having so we need both boy and girl names.

Loss in the Family
Last night, the Mann Family had a loss
in the family. Jessica's Hamster, Pumkin
passed away yesterday. She had Pumkin
for 2 years. Last year Pumkin won the
hamster race at PetCare taking first place.
So last night Bob and Jessica placed Pumkin
to rest next to Brandy. (For, those of you
who don't know, Brandy was a bird that we
had with us for close to 17 years.)

The Mother Road
Last week Jim and I traveled Route 66 from Wilmington, Il. to Tulsa Ok. We had so much fun. This picture was taken at a stop in Missouri, just before we entered Kansas. We spent quite a long time there, taking to the guide from the gas station. We later learned the there is a friendly competition between him and the women at the first stop in Kansas. They are trying to see who can keep the tourists at their stop the longest. We did spend more time in Kansas, however, both places had very friendly people. Until next time, Becky
